University Park Church
University Park
Church (UPC) is a place to
learn, a place to grow and a place to belong and a place
to discover truth together. As a
place to learn, the church operates under the simple
idea that God is smarter than we are. Therefore, the
best thing we can do is to gain God’s perspective and do
things his way. As a place to grow,
the church promotes the transformation that occurs in us
as our minds are renewed by God’s truth. As
a result of individually and corporately growing in
truth and fruitfulness, together we are becoming a
community where each of us has a place to belong and
serve. All those who have a desire to
live their lives in communion with Jesus and in
fellowship with other believers are welcome as we
discover truth together. UPC was started on the campus
of California State
University, San Bernardino
on Easter Sunday 1987. Our congregation is one of the
many churches in the U.S.
affiliated with the
Christian and Missionary Alliance.
We
are a
Bible-Based Life Training church, fully grounded in
God’s word as it is given to us in both the Old and New
Testaments. UPC has a strong emphasis on discipleship in
such areas as: marital training, child discipline,
spiritual growth, financial training, and conflict
resolution.

 Surf
camp is well under way this week. The youth have been at the camp
since Monday afternoon and will remain till Saturday. The Family portion
of Surf Camp begins on Thursday this week. Use this week to learn more
about our God and if you have never been a surfer, its never to late to
try it out. I am sure that Pastor Elwell will be holding classes on
both, our Savior and surfing. |
