| The
Fall Festival will be open on Saturday and Sunday this year. We will
have games, jumper, food and fun. We will have, from time to time,
music playing, a band playing, and Karaoke. We have planned a pie
making contest, pumpkin carving contest and a costume contest (See Rules
opposite). We will have a picture booth again this year and the
pumpkin patch will still be open.
Come one and all and bring your friends to the fun. This is a continuation of our outreach to the community in which we are a part. Tell every one about our fall festival.
You should have seen what the wind blew in! |
Update: The two day fall festival was a rousing success. Loads of Church members, Loads of Community members, friends and family attended. We had couples and families that were looking for a church to attend. We had a wonderful time talking to the church and community members alike. Pastor Elwell, at the conclusion, said, " I think this was the best fall festival ever!" Our Youth Pastor Ryan McCullough said, "I saw someone that I went to youth group with." God is glorious and when a body of believers gather in his name, he is there. That is exactly what happened at this year's two day fall festival. And I believe he drew people to our event. This is the first year that we have had a two day fall festival. It allowed people that could not make the traditional Sunday evening festival to attend the Saturday festival. We had a costume contest, games. worship, music outside and loads of candy. This year all the games were free. The only things that required money were the food items and the cake walk. On Sunday we judged the pie baking contest and the pumpkin carving contest. Contest winners are listed below.
